I’m Jen Chambers. I live in Florida with my husband of 25 years and our cats. I’m 65, retired, and a cancer survivor. I spent sixteen years caregiving for family members before I started building something of my own.

That building started with knitting. I’ve been teaching knitting on YouTube for fifteen years. Then I added product reviews, an Amazon Influencer storefront, a life after 50 blog, and a storytelling channel I film from the water. I make income from all of it and I write about how it works because I think other women in their 50s and 60s deserve to see that it’s possible.

The Life After 50 articles on this site are drawn from my actual life. The cancer diagnosis. The caregiving years. Finding my biological father at 63. Learning to surf in Hawaii in my 30s. Growing up on a pig farm in Michigan. Going back to my grandmother’s house after fifty years. These are real stories with real photos and no AI generated anything.
